PROSPECTUS

ADMISSION RULES

We welcome students to join the Dnyaneshwari Vidyalaya family!
Please carefully read the admission guidelines below:

  

Eligibility for Admission

  • Admission to Class I is open only to      pupils who have completed 6 years of age on or before 30th      December of the academic year.
  • Admissions to higher classes will follow this      age eligibility progressively.

  

Documents Required

Students seeking admission to Dnyaneshwari Vidyalaya for the first time must submit the following documents:

  • Birth Certificate     (Original and Photocopy)
  • Aadhar Card Copy of the      student
  • Proof of Residential Address     (Electricity Bill, Rental Agreement, etc.)
  • Two Passport Size Photographs
  • School Leaving Certificate     (if transferring from another recognized school)
    • Note: If the student is       transferring from a school outside Maharashtra, the Leaving Certificate       must be duly countersigned by the Education       Authority of the concerned district.

School Timings and Attendance

 School Timings

For Std I to IV

  • Monday to Saturday: 12:45 pm to 05:20 pm
  • Second and Fourth Saturday:   Holiday

For Std V to X

  • Monday to Saturday: 07:00 am to 12:25 pm
  • Second and Fourth Saturday:   Holiday

  

Attendance Guidelines

  • Attendance is compulsory on the first day of school after vacations.
  • Students must be present 10 minutes before the scheduled time to participate in the prayer assembly.
  • Students arriving late by more than 10 minutes     may not be permitted to enter the classroom.
  • For any leave of absence, a written application addressed to the class teacher must be submitted by Parents/Guardians.
  • Continuous absence exceeding 3 days without prior permission may result in removal from the school roll.
  • Students suffering from any contagious or infectious disease must refrain from attending school until they are fully recovered, to ensure the health and safety of all.

Rules and Regulations for Parents and Guardians


  • Parents/Guardians must cooperate with school      authorities by encouraging regularity, punctuality,      and discipline     in their ward.
  • Ensure that your ward prepares lessons daily and      takes an active interest in school activities.
  • Parents must sign messages, progress reports,      and other      important documents when requested by the school.
  • Inform the school office promptly about any change      of address or contact numbers.
  • Regularly check the school notice board and official      announcements for updates.
  • Parents/Guardians should meet teachers as      and when informed by the school authorities.
  • Do not send your child to school if he/she      is unwell     or suffering from any contagious/infectious disease.
  • Strictly instruct your ward not      to leave the school premises during school hours,      including recess time, without prior permission.
  • Parents must ensure that students carry      their own tiffin daily.
  • It is compulsory to send only solid,      homemade food (such as chapati, dosa, idli, bread, etc.).
  • Snacks like chips, biscuits, wafers, and      similar items are strictly not allowed inside the school      premises.
  • Parents/Guardians should enter the school      premises only for authorized purposes.
  • Meeting students or teachers during working      hours is prohibited, except in emergency cases with prior      permission from the school office.
  • Applications for Bonafide Certificates, School Leaving      Certificates, Railway Concessions, etc., must be submitted      to the Head of the Institution at least one week in advance.
  • The school will not be responsible for any      delay caused due to non-compliance with these      instructions.
  • Parents/Guardians must ensure that the ward’s      name is clearly written on all personal belongings     including bags, water bottles, lunch boxes, books, and stationery items.
  • Parents/Guardians are expected to abide      by all rules and regulations issued by the school      authorities from time to time.
